SAMAR HOODY M SWEAT SHIRT

Sustainable men's sweatshirt made from a mix of recycled cotton fabric (from products that have been recycled at the end of their useful life) and recycled polyester (from waste PET bottles). In order to dye the product, non-edible agricultural residues (walnut shells, olives and chestnuts) have been used, which come from the projects that we carry out as an eco-friendly clothing brand.

Technical fabrics

recober-blueHilaturas Ferre collects and classifies used clothing and textile waste from around the planet and transforms it into new Recover fibres. What was once considered “waste” is transformed into new and valuable Recover yarns. Recover yarns are knitted or woven to create new fabrics. No dyes or chemicals are used in the production process of Recover cotton fibre. The recycled cotton fabric is mixed with polyester recycled from post-consumer plastic bottles. The Recover fabric reduces the use of water, energy, CO2 emissions and the use of chemicals as well as preventing this waste from ending up in landfills.
