The KRAK men's down vest from Ternua is a warm, lightweight, windproof and compressible garment, ideal both for mountain activities such as trekking, hiking, ice climbing or mountaineering and also to protect you during day-to-day and leisure activities. True to our principles of sustainability, the filling is recycled goose down and the exterior is made from Pertex® Quantum Eco® fabric with a PFC-free water repellent treatment. It can be stored in a very small bag and incorporates an elastic hem to prevent heat loss.
The recycled down comes from used bedding and clothing, which have reached the end of their useful life. Normally, the down and feather filling has a longer useful life than the finished products. Therefore we can extract the feather and down from these products. The down is classified and processed to meet cleanliness standards and other performance requirements. The NEOKDUN recycled down must be subjected to an innovative process in order to ensure full cleanliness and better performance as a filling for our products. The process is environmentally friendly and does not use harmful chemicals.
