Description

Open hooded technical sweatshirt. Made from S.Café Ocean polyester recycled from plastic bottles rescued from the sea, this sweatshirt absorb the sweat, dries quickly and has a natural S.Café antibacterial treatment that keeps bad odours at bay. With two zipped pockets for the hands, elastic band in the hem for unrivalled freedom of movement and an adjustable hood with drawstring.

Seacycle is a project to contribute to the cleaning of the oceans, collecting plastic waste from the Cantabrian coast and turning it into technological fabric with which to make technical garments.

We have discovered something that nobody had noticed before: that the capacity of coffee grounds to control odours can be integrated into the fabric. Once we noticed this, we started recycling coffee grounds and tried to make the idea a reality. We added coffee grounds to the fibres. To our surprise, S.Café® not only keeps odours in check, it also protects against UV rays and dries very quickly. Coffee isn't just good for drinking, you can also wear it!
