Eco-friendly, recycled and sustainable T-shirt made from a mix of recycled cotton fabric (from products that have been recycled at the end of their useful life) and recycled polyester (from waste PET bottles). To dye the product, non-edible agricultural waste has been used (walnut shells, olives and chestnuts) which is produced by our sustainable projects and enables us to manufacture eco-friendly clothing that respects the environment.
Hilaturas Ferre collects and classifies used clothing and textile waste from around the planet and transforms it into new Recover fibres. What was once considered “waste” is transformed into new and valuable Recover yarns. Recover yarns are knitted or woven to create new fabrics. No dyes or chemicals are used in the production process of Recover cotton fibre. The recycled cotton fabric is mixed with polyester recycled from post-consumer plastic bottles. The Recover fabric reduces the use of water, energy, CO2 emissions and the use of chemicals as well as preventing this waste from ending up in landfills.
