Very complete jacket, developed with our professional mountaineering "Friends", which incorporates all the technical features required by climbers and mountaineers. The Mauna Kea Jacket uses a "4 way stretch" (multi-elastic) Shelltec Active Flex (20k/20k) fabric to offer maximum protection in very adverse weather conditions.

·       Articulated elbows.
·       Slightly longer back for added protection in bad weather.
·       Two map-sized zipped water-repellent hand warmer pockets positioned for accessibility when using a harness.
·       Interior flap behind the front central zip for protection against storms.
·       Detachable snow skirt to prevent snow from entering.
·       Soft and napped microfleece in the area of the mouth and chin.
·       Two large mesh interior pockets for glasses, gloves or small bottles.
·       Water-repellent underarm zips for ventilation.
·       Velcro cuff adjustment, compatible with winter gloves.
·       Regular fit.
·       Adjustable hem with cord lock.

The 4-way stretch micro-filament structure (65% recycled poliamide comming from recycling fishing nets and 35% elastan) offers good thermal insulation, breathability and moisture wicking properties. The highly stretch fabric enhances freedom of movement and provides a good insulation and thermal regulation for colder days.
