Polartec® Alpha™ Is the latest synthetic insulation evolution, offering a combination of light warmth and a true ability to breathe in a cushioned garment. Since the Polartec® Alpha™ insulation is long-lasting, and more stable than other synthetic insulations, it can be used on more open exterior and interior fabrics, making it air permeable. This small air flow quickly removes the body moisture, allowing Polartec® Alpha™ to be used in a wider range of activities in comparison with the "moisture barrier" type insulations.
The Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™ fabrics have a 4-way elasticity that wraps the body while maintaining the capacity to breathe. They keep you dry when you sweat and provide warmth without weight. These fabrics feature a proprietary construction with two unique surfaces: a durable nylon outer layer is wind and abrasion resistant; the soft polyester inner layer pulls moisture away from your skin keeping you dry, warm and comfortable. Adaptable to changing weather conditions, Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™ garments make an excellent base layer and can be layered over lighter garments, or serve as warm, durable outerwear.

yarns available to us with the maximum thread
count.
We strongly believe that less weight shouldn’t
mean “please be careful”. Pertex Quantum®
stands its ground and shows the best strength
to weight ratio. Tear strength and seam strength
are good for its weight and it can easily
be used in shell jackets and withstands the
abuse of hardcore use. The abrasion resistance
however is not comparable with standard
weight 44 decitex fabrics.
Thanks to its dense weave, Pertex Quantum®
is down proof and can be used for any high-
end application in sleeping bags, down
jackets and expedition gear. It is a gear
