Polygiene® permanently stops the proliferation of bacteria and fungi that cause bad smells. To achieve this, it uses low concentrations of salt of silver (silver chloride), which has anti-microbe properties and is naturally present in water and soil, to work against the growth of bacteria and fungi. Field and lab tests have shown that odours are kept to a minimum for a longer time that the useful life of the item of clothing.
