Ternua's STORM PRO men's jacket is a versatile, extremely lightweight, compressible, windproof and extremely breathable garment that enables you to stay dry during activity. It is made from Pertex® Quantum and has a Polartec® Power Grid® lining which absorbs and expels sweat, retaining the heat generated. It has reflective details and a carry bag, and is ideal for numerous activities including hiking, trekking, trail running, running and fast hiking.
Shellstretch fabric is bi-elastic for improved
body adaptation, always keeping its ahape as
well as being hard-wearing and comfortable.
Designed to quickly absorb perspiration and
transport moisture away from the body, it also
has a water-repellent finish. Shellstretch fabric
is ideal for activities requiring total freedom of
movement. This makes it ideal for mountain
sports requiring total freedom of movement.
Polartec® Power Grid® fabrics are designed to keep your skin dry when you sweat. All the fabrics in this series have a point construction that has two components and uses different threads on each side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces: one side is optimised to draw moisture from your skin, and the other is designed to dry quickly. The long filaments on the inside of the fabric create contact points to draw sweat from your skin. The open air channels between these filaments ensure that the fabric is breathable, elastic, and warm, without being too heavy.
Pertex Quantum® is a very light fabric. It is a real featherweight with at 30 g/m2. It uses the thinnest possible thread and highest number of strands. Being lighter doesn't mean it's more delicate. Pertex Quantum® proves this by having the best strength to weight ratio. The resistance to tear and extreme use, as well as the strength of the seams, is very good considering the strength of the material. The dense Pertex Quantum® fabric also makes it resistant to feathers. It can be used in several high-end products such as sleeping bags, down jackets, and materials for expeditions.
