Hi, my name is Jokin Lizeaga. My discipline is Trail Running. I was born in Urnieta,Gipuzkoa. My special talent is Trail Running. 

I am from Urnieta (Gipuzkoa) and work as a physical trainer and participate in trail running races. I belong to the “Club Mendiriz Mendi” and also form part of the Euskal Mendi Federazioa (EMF). Until he was 21 years old, Jokin has dedicated his life to cycling, but it was then, after three years, that he discovered trail running.

He has been running for 8 years and has obtained great results, besides some good positions. One of the results that boosted his race was the victory of “Chaberton Marathon” (Trail World Series) in 2009. Another of his great races, even though he didn´t win, was the Zegama contest (World Series) in 2012, where he got a well-deserved 5th place despite being injured. He also won the “Marathon Montcalm” (Sky Race World Cup) in 2012 and in 2013 the “Integral del Valdecebollas”. Other victories this same year include: Senpereko Trail, Urnietako Mendi Lasterketa, Donostia-Hondarribia, Ereñotzuko Mendi Lasterketa, Trail Montan’Aspe (29 km), Boca del Infierno and Mello Saria. One of the most important current achievements was 3rd place in the general classification of the "World Cup."
